Chris White

Chris is the Head Coach and founder of GoRun Australia.  He’s got ginger hair, loves ice cream, chocolate and of course running.   He was born in Newcastle in the UK and has lived in the US, Switzerland, Belgium and now Australia.  With GoRun, Chris wants to combine his 10 years of experience working in public health, with his love of running and coaching.  He has worked with several charities including the Wings for Life Foundation, Jean Hailes for Women, Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute on their running related projects and fundraising.  You can check out what else he is working on at the moment on our ‘Now’ page.

In 2017, he raised almost $20,000 for the Baker Institute by running 17 marathons around Australia.  In 2018, Chris completed Australia’s longest triathlon, 'Ultraman Australia’ coming 7th overall.

Chris is a big believer in the power of coaching for recreational runners, no matter where they are at in their running journey. He has coached people to run their first 5km parkrun, through to people running 100km ultra marathons and Ironman triathlons. He enjoys coaching athletes who are keen to learn, have a sense of humour and are looking to be more consistent in their training.

Kylie Royal Meehan

Kylie is passionate about anything health, fitness and wellness with a particular love of running. For her recent 40th birthday she ran the Great Wall of China Marathon, rather than partying at the pub. That is not to say she doesn't enjoy a wine!

Amongst all her achievements which include 70.3 Triathlon's, numerous runs and the Marysville 50km the one that makes her most proud was becoming a Mum to Georgie in May 2018. It was a fitness, health and mental toughness journey of its own kind. Learning to balance family life, mum life, and training life has been a work in progress but she believes it has made her a better athlete and better coach.

Kylie has been in the industry in excess of 20 years working as an Exercise Physiologist and Personal trainer. She has worked in high level injury rehabilitation, with elite athletes at the AIS and NTIS and with the general population. Her heart is most fuelled when working to empower women to see just what they are capable of. Amongst her most proud coaching moments are helping one 40 year old client run her first 500m since school and then go on to complete the Uluru marathon and also rehabilitating a young client with a horrific knee injury to return to skiing and daily yoga after being told she would be lucky to ever walk without a limp.

She and her husband Paul are very involved with the Wings for Life Foundation and the quest to find a cure for Spinal Cord injury. Kylie's hope is that her positive attitude and high level of motivation will rub off on her clients!

Jason Rawlings

Jason is originally from the UK, and first moved over to Melbourne in 2010.  He's been running since he left school and did his first half marathon when he was 17 (30 years ago!!), and has run ever since, although mountain biking was his main passion back in the UK. Whilst in the UK, Jason was a run coach for the equivalent of Little Aths and also a PTI (Physical Training Instructor) for the UK Army Reserves.

Since moving over to Melbourne, he has stepped up his running and completed his first marathon in 2013 in Melbourne, and has since ran the Berlin Marathon, the 56km at Two Bays in 2014, and his first 100km at Surf Coast Century in 2017.

Stage races are where he is most at home and in 2020 he won his longest event to date, in New Zealand, at Alps 2 Ocean, covering about 320km over a week. In 2019 he also took part in the 101km CCC race as part of Ultra Trail Mont Blanc!

Jason runs for all the fitness and health benefits that running brings, but also loves sharing his knowledge and passion with others, and seeing them enjoy running and reaching their goals truly inspires him. He coaches with the Kathmandu Trail group as well as with GoRun.  His favourite trails are down on the Surf Coast as well as the ones slightly closer to home around Studley Park along the Yarra - we certainly do have some great trails right on our doorstep!
