5 Weeks to 5km

If you have always wanted to be able to run 5km, do parkrun or are looking to work your way back up to 5km distance safely after a break, then this is the simple training plan for you. Our qualified GoRun coaches want to help you take the guess work out of your running and gradually build you up to 5km over 5 weeks. Our priority is on total beginner runners with this plan and building consistency and keeping you injury free so that you can through your 5km without stopping.

This training plan is hosted online and can be your perfect companion to get you up to 5km safely. You can add your own notes and comments to your plan as you go, giving you that extra accountability.

Get into Running - 6 Week Online Training Plan

If you are thinking about doing your first event or just getting into running for health or social reasons, this course can be your perfect companion to get you into it safely. Our priority is on working with total beginner runners or those getting back into running after a long lay off. We want to bring you back to consistency and keeping you injury free so that you can get run fit.

Get into Running and feel the benefits of more endorphins, better cardio fitness and improved health. With help from our awesome GoRun Australia coaches, we want to help you take the stress out of your running and say goodbye to inconsistent training, expensive injuries and unfulfilled running goals. All in 6 weeks!

Target 10km - 12 Week Online Training Plan

If you are planning to do your first 10km or improve on your previous best, then Target 10km will help you smash your goal! The coaches at GoRun have taken the guess work out of your training and will gradually build up your distances, intensity and fitness to tackle the 10km in 12 weeks. Our priority is on training consistently, keeping you injury free and enjoying the process.

This plan is for you if you can run for 15-20 minutes with a couple of breaks already, can commit to being active a few times per week and want to complete 10km feeling strong. You might also not be sure how to get from where you are to your 10km goal, but let us do that job for you!  By the end you will know that you have done the right training, kept consistent and are on the start line feeling fit and ready to run!

We’ve stripped out all the extras and focused on what is most important: A quality, achievable training plan that will guide you and keep you accountable.

The training plan is hosted online through the Final Surge App, enabling you to add notes, see your sessions and monitor your progress as you improve over the 12 weeks.

Half Marathon - 12 Week Online Training Plan

The Half Marathon Training Plan is here to help you to your first or next half marathon. The half marathon is a great distance for us runners to aspire to, train for and achieve.

This plan is for you if you can run 30 minutes already and want to complete a half marathon, but are not sure how to get from where you are to 21.1km!  By the end you will know that you have done the right training, kept consistent and are on the start line feeling fit and ready to run!

The training plan is written by our Head Coach Chris White and hosted online through the Final Surge App, enabling you to add notes, see your sessions and monitor your progress as you improve over the 12 weeks.
